I think it was a good idea to let 18 year olds vote because if the president can send them over seas to fight then they should be able to pick the president. also you cannot deprive any one from voting if they meet the qualifications.

Secton 2 talked about the registration process and what they are doing to make it easier. you have to register to be able to vote because if no one registered then some people would vote twice and the right person might not win.

this section is about what we have done in the past to try to get people not to vote, and what laws or guidelines we made to fix it. blacks wouldnt vote because they were scared but we made laws so everyone has the right to vote.

The minor parties really dont stand a huge chance against the big parties. but they are important in the sense that if people are not happy with the way this country is being run they can do somthing about it. it gives you that feeling that you can do anything you set your mind to.


5. Explain voter apathy and what can be done to help it:
Its when people dont want to get out and practice there right to vote, but if we had more people running there might be someone they really want to vote for so they will go and vote. even though as an american citizen you should go and vote, we do live in america and if someone does not want to vote they shouldnt be hackled for there decision.


6. Explain the qualifications for registering to vote:
they have to be 18 and an american citizen then they must register his or her name, age, place of birth, present address, lenght of residence, and similar facts
